Posted on FFN.
No spoilers this time, since the next chapter is (unfortunately) still so ambiguous.
However, I bring news of great import: Tsuki no Aika, only four chapters into the story, has been nominated for 'Best Drama' Category in the Feudal Association.
I am wondering who nominated me, so that I can thank the person properly. If you are the one I am seeking, step forth and comment!
Enter Inupapa stage center.
Chapter Two is up on FFN!
Comments and feedback is, always and will ever be, greatly welcome.
Chapter Three is in its final draft form. ( Teasers behind the cutCollapse )
Arigatou to quietharm and jnghh for beta-reading and feedback!
A brief update:
Have posted Chapter 1 on FFN. Am trying not to become complacent, trying to get my momentum back up to writing the rest of this (and there quite a ways to go!). Comments and feedback greatly appreciated!
Teaser for Chapter 2 (coz it's largely already written):
The new version of the prologue has been posted on FFN. This is fairly shorter than the previous version but I like it better. ^_^ I hope you will too.
The first chapter is undergoing some final edits. Expect it in the middle of next week.
Many heartfelt thanks go out to jnghh, quietharm and moreta for beta-ing and for thought-provoking (and sometimes hair-tearing) feedback!
In other news, I'm partway through a one-shot about Rin. Hopefully that will come out not too long from now. The chapter is my focus of now though; the one-shot takes second place.
( x-posted to my personal journal )
NOTE: Odd, I thought I'd posted an update to this journal earlier, but apparently the post is lost in cyberspace. Ah well.
Welcome to Tsuki no Aika, the LiveJournal community for this leian's Inuyasha fanfiction.
This is a retelling of a romance that became a legend, the love between the leader of the Inu no Taisho or Inu Daiyoukai (given the near-canon name Touga in the fic) and the human hime Izayoi.
The 'fic was previously titled Tsuki no Kyuuie, 'ancient songs of the moon' and has been changed to 'lament of the moon' for various reasons including the fact that my Japanese-speaking friends were asking what a kyuuie is, and the fact that the earlier title was difficult to remember/spell.
I shall endeavour to post the new(!) version of the prologue and the first chapter ASAP! Thanks for stopping by!
